Scope of Work

Grouting

WHAT IS GROUTING : It’s a procedure in which the diver installs support/grout bag underneath subsea pipelines and the grout(cement) is pumped into the bag which lift the bag and works as a support, as the grout(cement) sets. It also includes pile grouting.

In some cases divers are replaced by ROV’s (remotely operated vehicles) were the installation and filling is done by robots (rov’s)

Scope of Work:

• Design, fabrication and supply of all equipments for pneumatic bulk handling systems.
• Design, fabrication and assembly of cement batch mixing units used for cementing jobs in oil drilling operations and pipeline grouting projects.
• Design and fabrication of Mud Plant unit for storage, mixing and handling of mud chemicals used in oil drilling operations.

Quality Assurance for Fabrication Jobs:

The Inhouse QC Department is managed by technically professional people having more than 15 years experience.

The QA department draws plans with respect to job requirement inspection stages, welder qualification and fabrication quality. Preparation of QC checkhold points as per relevant codes etc. and liaisioning with external inspection agencies. For special application critical monitoring and special technical audit, third party quality management consultants are engaged as required on a case by case basis. For each contract QC procedures and stages are discussed with clients/ consultants and based on their requirement check hold point are identified as the quality control plan. Inspection at agreed stages are offered.

Supply of Cement through Polydrill's Bulk Plant

Polydrill procures cement from reputed suppliers as per specification of customer and supply the same through their bulk plant to customer's supply boat. Polydrill have their own godowns at different Ports across Country.
Scope of Work

Supply of cement to customer's through company's bulk plant equipments by procuring cement as per the specification required by the customer, storing and processing the same if required and unloading it to customer's supply boats as per their requirement.

Polydrill's bulk plant equipments are presently installed at Bhavnagar Port along with Godown storage facility and cement is unloaded to client's supply boats as per their requirement.

Polydrill’s bulk handling facility is also available at 14Victoria Dock, Mumbai where there is provision for Cement Sack Storage , Cement Cutting,Silo storage, loading and unloading of cement.

a) Rental of Polydrill Cementing Units ( Schlumberger Make)

The CPS-361 Skid- Mounted Cementer delivers high-pressure pumping services. Two triplex pumps equip the unit for simultaneous mixing and down hole pumping. This unit is currently dressed with 3 ¾”(10,000 PSI), and 5” (5500 PSI) plungers in the fluid ends. Dressing a fluid end with 3” plungers allows for pressures of 15,000 PSI. Two 300 HP Detroit 8V-71 diesel engines, with marine cooling kits, power the unit. With a Central Control Console, one operator can control all unit functions, monitor engine operating parameters, pump rates, and pressures. Twin 10-BBL Stainless Steel Displacement Tanks are used to monitor volumes of non-flammable fluids, such as mix water or displacement fluids. The Mark lll Slurry Chief Mixing System consists of a 6-bbl mixing tub, 14bbl averaging tank, and a 70cubic feet cement silo/ surge tank. Slurry Pressurizing pump, Auxiliary Pressurizing pump, and two mixing water pumps, make it capable of mixing 60 dry sacks of cement per minute. Other features include a non-radioactive densitometer, and a Pressurized Packing Lube System.
